Abstract

The chydorid cladoceran Oxyurella tenuicaudis (SARS, 1862) has been found in Furujonuma Pond (Tatebayashi City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan) since 1983. This species is known to be distributed widely in the world, but its occurrence has not so far been adequately recorded in Japan.
