Abstract

A new genus of Pedunculinae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) is described: Attenboro-ughnculus De Ketelaere and Broad, gen. n. a monotypic genus for Attenboroughnculus tau De Ketelaere and Broad, sp. n. collected in central Chile. This is the fourth genus and fourth described species of Pedunculinae and the second from the Neotropics. Each of the four known genera is defined by putative apomorphies, included in an identification key, and photos of each are provided. http://www.zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:760B208B-9317-4F58-B15E-2C173F29AA8A.
