Abstract

The article analyzes the work of the Office of Special Studies in the formation of soil sciences and the creation of fertilizer technologies for corn agriculture in Mexico. It also studies the public policies that the Mexican State implemented for the construction of the fertilizer industry, as well as the scope and problems of its spread in the cultivation of corn in Western Mexico.
