Abstract

Phytochemical investigation of an acetone extract of Upuna borneensis (Dipterocarpaceae) resulted in the isolation of two new resveratrol tetramers, upunaphenols O (1) and P (2). The structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis including NMR experiments. © 2009 Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
