In the learning process of the children, girls and teenagers they find one immersed without number of factors that affect in the academic performance of these, therefore the present article has as aim determine which are the factors of the educational and familiar environment that affect the academic performance of the students of Tasajera's I.E.D. The investigation was carried out under a qualitative approach by a descriptive scope by the participation of 50 students of the institution; observation applied to itself with the group participant. As principal result there is demonstrated that the factors of familiar order that incur the process recount to the behavior of the students, they associate to the processes of integration and participation of the family as elements key for the best academic student performance.
