Abstract

A clinical case of complicated strangulated infraumbilical eventration with intestinal obstruction is presented, which consults during COVID-19 pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, to a Municipal Hospital of the Province of Buenos Aires (Argentina), with multiple risk factors and comorbidities that could potentially affect the postoperative evolution of the patient, in addition to the abdominal wall plastic technique, the sanitary measures implemented to prevent infection of the surgical personnel and the patient are analyzed.
