IMAGEM E ESCRITA NA CONSTRUÇÃO DA (IN)COERÊNCIA TEXTUAL: EPISÓDIOS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL I

Abstract

RESUMO O presente artigo tem por finalidade analisar a construção da coerência textual, focando a relação entre escrita e imagem em três produções de estudantes do 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental I, oriundos de uma escola pública de Itaporã-MS. Os dados apontam que, embora o conceito de coerência textual seja familiar à maioria dos docentes, para entender os processos de escrita dos sujeitos analisados é necessário que professores de língua materna voltem o olhar, acostumado a privilegiar a aquisição da ortografia da língua e o normativismo da tradição gramatical, para o desenvolvimento de outras competências linguísticas, associadas a práticas de letramento. A análise sugere que o conceito de coerência nos processos da aquisição da escrita seja mais bem compreendido se considerado a partir dessas práticas, deslocando-o do campo exclusivo da Linguística Textual.ABSTRACT The current paper has an aim to analyze the construction of textual coherence, focusing on the relationship between writing and image in three productions of students from the 5th year of elementary school, originating from a public school in Itaporã-MS. The selected data show that, although the concept of textual coherence is familiar to most teachers, to understand the analyzed subjects’ writing process is necessary for mother-language teachers direct their look, used to privilege both acquisition of language’s ortography and normativism grammatical tradition, to develop other linguistic skills associated with literacies practices. The analysis suggests that the concept of coherence in writing acquisition processes will be better understood if considered from these practices, shifting it from the unique field of Textual Linguistics.
