Abstract

With the increasing popularity of short video platforms among students, this study examines their impact on online learning through a user-centric design perspective, using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The research explores how the interactivity, functionality, and user-friendliness of these platforms enhance perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, subsequently affecting online learning intentions. The findings suggest that the design elements that promote user engagement and interactive learning environments significantly contribute to the effectiveness of learning outcomes. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating user-centric design principles into educational technology platforms to improve learning processes and outcomes, highlighting the critical role of user interface and interaction design in engaging and retaining student users.
