Abstract

Recent Indian English novels employ a variety of experimental narrative techniques to present a wide range of subject matter. The last decade has witnessed the rise of popular fiction depicting contemporary Indian society, written perhaps with an Indian readership in view, but acclaimed by an increasingly international audience.
