Abstract

This research was conducted to identify and analyze the availability of facilities at Tebet Eco Park, especially for persons with disabilities. Tebet Eco Park has been inaugurated by the Government of DKI Jakarta as one of the active open spaces on an area scale with an area of 7.3 hectares.The open space should be easily accessible by all people without exception. In this study, a qualitative descriptive analysis method was used, followed by a prescriptive analysis by comparing the existing condition of Tebet Eco Park with the 7 Universal Design Principles in PUPR Regulation No.14/ PRT/2017 and Universal Design Handbook, 2011. From the findings of this study, of the seven principles universal design, the principle of "Simple and intuitive" has the highest percentage, reaching 94%. Then "Low physical effort" is in the lowest percentile with a percentage of 27%.
