Abstract

Modelling and simulation can make time of research and achieving necessary solutions shorter and more effective. In this study, researchers at the beginning present relevant related researches from the fields of logistics systems modelling and some features of advantages and disadvantages of computer simulation. Subsequently, decisive characteristics of simulation tool Dosimis-3 are described. Finally, the study offers a short case on some experiences from using simulation software in order to optimise the production process in real conditions. © Medwell Journals, 2011.
