A generalized Debye scattering equation

Abstract

The Debye scattering equation for amorphous material and the Laue scattering equation for crystalline material follow from different assumptions on the orientation distribution of the interatomic distance vector rμ,ν. A generalization of these assumptions leads to a new scattering equation which is presented here.
