Abstract
This article aims to present the strategic management and social management towards conceptualizing them and demonstrate their differences. In this sense the concepts presented are two types of management to the end accomplish the rapprochement between the concepts. The main focus is to advance the understanding of Social Management by contrast, proposed by Feyerabend (2007). The main results are listed based on the differences in the dimensions: starting point, rationality, decision-making, transparency, space, finality of management, method, design of organizational structure, theoretical premises, modus operandi, benefits, time dimension, amplitude of action , vision, focus, consequences and relation.
