Abstract

The paper discusses how good communication skills are necessary and be easy for engineers. With the 90s becoming a time for engineers, it appears that technologists do not need to hone their communication skills even though engineering schools now offer technical writing and communications courses. Communication skills may mean the difference between a rewarding, well compensated senior position and a slinging fast food down the local burger barn and that they are easy to acquire and apply in various industrial and technical applications.
