Abstract

Most CNC tools have chip breakers, which play a very important role in CNC machining. This article will introduce the development history of the chipbreaker, and classify and summarize the chipbreaker. Then this article starts with the cutting parameters, the geometric parameters of the chip breaker, and the geometric angle of the tool, and analyzes the influence of these factors on chip breaking.by these factors. Subsequently, the performance of the chip breaker is evaluated and the rationality of chip breaking of the chip breaker is analyzed. Finally, it is concluded that the blade geometry is ever-changing. Due to different factors, it is necessary to consider multiple aspects when designing the geometry.
