Abstract

As indicated in section 60 'Background', undertaking clinical trials is not appropriate in this context. As the current system used for grading the strength of recommendations is directly related to the type of study, all recommendations made in this guideline can only be given a strength of recommendation of D (see Table 1 and Appendix 2).
