Abstract

This article aims to present the context and process in which the technical work was developed in the field of bodily practices and physical activities. The stages of initial agreement, team formation, consultation process, training, structure of the material, and presentation of the theoretical-methodological principles that underlie the work were covered. The technical work was structured based on the operational axes of the National Health Promotion Policy and followed the theoretical-methodological principles: bodily practices and physical activities as a right of all and a duty of the State, guided by an expanded perspective, prioritized within the space-time of leisure, and guided by healthcare work in dignified and stable conditions. The goal was to assert bodily practices and physical activities as a human right, expressing its social and ethical-political commitment to the needs of the Brazilian population and the strengthening of the SUS.
