Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the psychometric properties of the Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire - Remote Education (SACQ-RE), in freshmen college students, and obtain normative data. A sample of 688 Peruvian college students from different professionals careers (female = 56.105%; Mage = 19.576 years; Sdage= 5.230 years) was used. Results supported the original four-factor structure, even if with less items than the original version. A positive association with self-efficacy was found, and an acceptable degree of measurement invariance regarding to sex. Likewise, an adequate reliability index was evidenced and favorable indicators for creating scores were retrieved. It is concluded that the SACQ-RE has adequate psychometric properties.
