Abstract
The photon induced tt̄ production cross section was calculated in the framework of vNRQCD using the velocity renormalization group (VRG). The VRG-improved computation has a scale uncertainty of 2%-3% at the peak of the cross section. An improvement in the convergence of the expansion was also found.
