Abstract

In this article I intend to present the interpretation of the Heritage as a deliberate and creative estrategy to promote awareness of the natural and cultural values of every place, its different meanings and the importance of its preservation and protection. In this estrategy, Education in general is of vital importance, because it improves the possibilities of self-understating by the knowledge of the environment. But Art Education –both formal and informal–, is the crucial part in an operation in which artistic processes –productive and appreciative– are particularly involve.
