Abstract

The article explores how academic libraries have survived and remain relevant in the age of technology, especially in terms of collection development. Focus is given to how academic libraries have adapted to changes in the age of Digital Darwinism, and looks at how their collection have evolved to meet the needs of users. Also discussed is the open education resources.
