Abstract

The conventionality 'control' is a mechanism that should be carried out first by the domestic judiciary, making a 'comparison' between local and supranational law, to ensure the effectiveness of international instruments, is arising from treaties, the jus cogens or the jurisprudence of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, and then that task should be exercised by the Interamerican Human Rights Court if the case goes to his courtroom.
