Abstract

This study aims to elaborate Karl Popper's falsification methodology in depth so that a concept can be developed to be applied in building inclusive understanding. The research method uses library research or literature. The approach used in this study is a philosophical approach which is used to carry out content analysis through the phenomenological method which then draws a conclusion from these various thoughts. The results of this study found that Popper's idea which states that the best achievement of theory is the possibility of achieving truth, not certainty of being right, is an idea that greatly avoids what is called the truth claim of a group. If this is applied in a sustainable manner, it will be able to erode the phenomenon of group exclusivity, and can build an inclusive understanding.
