Ewald sums for Yukawa potentials

Abstract

The expressions involving Ewald sums for Yukawa potentials based interactions in terms of numerical simulations were derived. The Yukawa potentials included plasma applications and applications in colloid suspensions, polyelectrolytes, and charged polymers. The results were applied to perform accurate numerical simulations for all the systems where small quantities were not considerable. The numerical errors produced by this truncation process were also reported.
