Avessos da dialética: Adorno, Lukács e o realismo no século XX

Espaço de interlocução em ciências humanas n. 12, Ano VI, out./2010 – Publicação semestral – ISSN 1981-061X Resumo: Com a publicação de " A reconciliação extorquida " (1958), Theodor Adorno (1903-1969) tornou público seu desacordo com a interpretação da literatura do século XX apresentada por Georg Lukács (1885-1971) em Realismo crítico hoje (1957). Nucleada pela categoria do realismo, a contenda explicitou o antagonismo existente entre as duas filosofias: a ontologia do ser social do húngaro e a dialética negativa do alemão. São precisamente as causas e consequências dessa divergência que o presente artigo tenta demonstrar. Abstract: Since the publication of " Extorted reconciliation " (1958), Theodor Adorno (1903-1969) made public his disagreement with the interpretation of the literature from twentieth century by Georg Lukács (1885-1971) in his The Meaning of Contemporary Realism (1957). Focused by the realism category, the struggle explained the antagonism between the two philosophies: the ontology of social being of the Hungarian and German's negative dialectics. These are precisely the causes and consequences of this difference that this article attempts to demonstrate.
