Abstract

A new ichneumonid genus Rovenosa gen.n., with type species Rovenosa rasnitsyni sp.n. (Stilbopinae), and Lissonota perkovskyi sp.n. (Banchinae) are described from the Late Eocene Rovno amber from Ukraine. These taxa are the first records of the subfamilies Banchinae and Stilbopinae in the Rovno amber and the earliest records of the fossil representatives of these subfamilies.
