Abstract

Obstruction of the so-called Fontan tunnel represents a life-threatening complication and requires immediate intervention. We describe the successful use of prolonged thrombolysis with rt-PA, allowing stent placement in an extracardiac tunnel in a 7-year-old boy. © 2009 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
