Abstract

Noticing is the ability needed to handle learning situations that occur simultaneously, accommodate student needs, and engage students during learning. In this study, noticing is teachers' ability to identify important situations or events, interpret them, and make connections with the principles of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). The existing noticing questionnaire using general learning principles is related to more specific principles, such as RME. This study aims to determine the content validity of the noticing questionnaire based on RME principles. This study used the Plomp and Nieveen development method, focusing on the preliminary research and prototyping phase. The instrument in this study was a validation sheet. Data sources were two experts of RME and the expert of teachers' noticing. It is concluded that the noticing questionnaire based on the RME principles has fulfilled the content validity criteria so that can be used to notice RME-based learning videos.
