Abstract

A number of gastroenterologic conditions are found in the adolescent and their proper management is important to the overall physiologic and psychologic health of this individual. This chapter looks at such issues as irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, gastroesophageal reflux, esinophilic esophagitis, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, hepatitis, and pancreatitis.
