Abstract
This article contains a literature review on transitional justice to contribute to an informed debate on the subject. In order to do so, it begins with a brief explanation of the origins of Transitional Justice and what is understood as such, continuing with the dilemmas it raises with regards to democracy and human rights as well as an analysis of the times of this justice and its prolongation over decades after transitions, to later explore a group of explanatory works about justice trajectories and then finish reflecting on the challenges of the field.
