Abstract
With the development of sensor and network technology, intelligent sensor systems have become a trend in furniture design and manufacturing. Intelligent sensors communicate with the host computer via a network adapter, driving furniture toward intelligence. Surveys show that consumers prefer adjustable, multifunctional furniture because it allows for flexible changes according to needs, creating personalized spaces. By analyzing relevant literature, this paper identifies and organizes the issues in furniture design and proposes a research plan for multifunctional furniture modeling design. It also presents an automatic furniture layout algorithm based on strategic gradient, which accurately identifies the scale of floor plans and major components. Experimental results show that the algorithm has high accuracy, with recall and precision rates exceeding 93%, and has been implemented in home improvement company systems. This paper aims to optimize furniture layout design, solve practical design problems, and provide theoretical support for future furniture modeling design.
