Taxonomic considerations and amended description of humiriastrum spiritu-sancti, HUMIRIACEAE

Abstract

An amended description of Humiriastrum spiritu-sancti is presented, highlighting characters of the ovary, style, stigmatic surface, intrastaminal disk and fruit, alongside with the analysis of the pollen morphology. The species is illustrated and several new records increase the extent of its distribution.
