Abstract

The article focuses on the growth of online distance learning on higher education. Electronic learning or web-based instruction brings major improvements on the training sector regarding its popularity on professional education. Distance education is seen as a means to sustain the growth of several colleges and universities by promoting instructional programs. Suggestions to promote and ensure efficient e-learning include training and courses development, salary, workload, intellectual property rights, and promotion and tenure.
