Abstract

Instruments for economy has brought a level of competition never seen before by society, mainly concerning constructions and engineering. Technological innovations become a mean for economic development, giving conditions to an environment conducive to innovative products and process. Using the concept of the triple helix, that means the integration of the development of spaces that include the association of the Private Sector with the Public and the action of the Universities, structuring what’s called technological parks, these spaces potentially include a wide variety of uses, the so-called complexes projects that require integration between innovation, creativity, production, with spaces for recreation, sociability, and many others. In the usual method for building, is well know the extreme difficulty to integrate many sources of information. Therefore, the use of project modeling BIM (Building Information Modeling), open possibilities that previously did not exist. This study case presents an analysis of the use of BIM of eleven projects of technological parks in Innovation Centers of the Santa Catarina State, Brazil
