Abstract

Employing standard equations, Dirac-Fermion systems with dissipation and an external force are considered. For a given force and arbitrary spatial dimensions, including fractional ones, these non-Hermitian systems have a countable number of equivalent stationary states. Consequently, they are formally characterized by the configuration-entropy. For any spatial dimension, and as a function of the external force, the entropy has a well-defined inflection point describing two dissipative regimes, or phases, of unknown origin.
