Abstract
Chili plants are plants that are very commonly cultivated in Indonesia for consumption. Chili plant production has increased every year. With this, efforts to increase the production of chili plants continue to be increased. One of the chili plant problems that can affect chili production is anthracnose disease caused by a fungus (Colletotrichum spp.). This study aims to determine the effect of liquid smoke from palm oil solid waste to suppress anthracnose disease in cayenne pepper plants. This study uses palm oil solid waste as the main ingredient for making liquid smoke. This study used a one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The results showed that the treatment had no significant effect on disease incidence, significantly affected plant height in the TF (fiber) and TJ (empty bunch) treatments.
