Abstract
We elaborated and validated a questionnaire to assess the methodology of teaching and assessment of university faculty. Two scales were developed based on existing theory about the topic. This theory provides two models, one of them teaching-centered and the other learning-centered, with different characteristics. The third scale was derived from theory about the skills of the qualified faculty. Two samples of university faculty were used, one with 233 and the other with 315. The results of internal consistency and construct validity, included in this paper, are excellent. The final product is a questionnaire with three scales and 51 items.
