Abstract

The model of the snake-like robot's environment was built by using grid method, Ant colony optimization algorithm based on the genetic mechanism was used to solve the robot path planning, and the optimization strategy was put forward. In order to test the optimized algorithm performance, we designed a simulation program based on MATLAB software. By compared with the ordinary ants colony algorithm, the simulation results show that the optimization algorithm has faster convergence rate, the optimal solution of the characteristics of higher success rate, and also obtain better solutions.
