Abstract

We move from media to expanded audiovisual entertainment. We are inhabitants of the transmedial experience and the video game. Everything changes and mutates but the storytelling mandate is maintained and expanded. And without stories there is no movement. This essay reflects on the expanded narratives in a coolture and popular key, realizes the contributions of Latin American communication theory to the study of media ways of narrating and meaning, and proposes a reinvention of discourse on entertainment narratives and imagine the narrator bastard, mutant and dj as a possibility..
