Abstract
Kebun Kopi is prone to landslides, especially during the long rainy season. On September 16, 2020, there was a landslide at KM 42, which caused the closure of the road. Slope handling in the that area has been carried out by providing reinforcement and erosion control, however, it was not sufficient for handling landslide cases. This study aimed to determine the slope stability at KM 42 based on simplified Bishop. The research was conducted in Nupa Bomba Village, Central Sulawesi Province. The data used in this research are secondary data which is the result of previous research. Secondary data were used in the form of slope geometry and laboratory test data. The collected data were analyzed using calculations according to the standards. Slope stability analysis was carried out by manual calculations using the simplified Bishop method and compared with numerical calculations using the Slide program. The results indicate that the value of the minimum safety factor has an average difference 0.22% when compared to the numerical analysis. The disadvantage of manual calculations is that the analysis process is quite long and less accurate, this can be minimized by using software analyzing slope stability problems, especially in the Kebun Kopi area.
