Abstract

Local wisdom found in people in Indonesia contains many noble values of the nation's culture, one of which is local wisdom in the Majalengka Regency. The research aims to determine: 1) the value of local wisdom that exists in the Majalengka community to shape the character of elementary school students, 2) how to instill these values so that they can shape the character of elementary school students. This research is a systematic literature study, the research step is to find articles that match two keywords, meet the exclusion inclusion criteria, and pass the quality assessment consisting of an assessment of research questions, methodology, and research results. The results showed that the local wisdom of the Majalengka Regency that could be taught to elementary school students was the Kedempling dance, Simbarkencana dance, Clean Friday, and traditions in Majalengka. The character values contained in the local wisdom include (1) religious, (2) tolerance, (3) discipline, (4) honest, (5) democracy, (6) independence, (7) friendly/communicative, (8) caring social, and (9) work hard. The form of implementation is by integrating the thematic learning in the field of SBdP, habituation activities, and inviting students to participate in traditional Majalengka community activities. The results of the research are expected to provide an overview to develop further research on local wisdom and be integrated into other learning.
