Abstract
This research examines the use of digital-based technology in Islamic elementary schools. With the rapid development of digital technology, schools are required to follow and adapt its use in the learning process. Islamic elementary schools, as educational institutions that combine general knowledge and religious knowledge, have their own challenges in implementing digital technology. This research uses a qualitative literature study method to explore the urgency, practices, and challenges of using digital technology in Islamic elementary schools. Data is collected through document analysis, literature review, and related articles. The research results show that the use of digital technology in Islamic elementary schools has several benefits, including improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process, enriching teaching materials, and facilitating collaboration between teachers and students. However, there are also challenges that must be faced, such as the availability of technological infrastructure, teacher competence in using technology, and the integration of technology and curriculum. The conclusion of this research is that the use of digital technology in Islamic elementary schools has great potential to improve the quality of education, but requires careful planning and implementation. Schools must prepare adequate technological infrastructure, improve teacher competence, and integrate technology with the desired curriculum. Thus, Islamic elementary schools can utilize digital technology optimally in the learning process and achieve educational goals.
