TEPP in 2021: Welcoming Opportunities and Rising to Challenges

Abstract

The past year has held many challenges that have impacted health service psychology education and training, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S.’s racial reckoning, and the impact of these events on virtually every aspect of life, work, and training. As Training and Education in Professional Psychology (TEPP) moves into 2021, its articles illustrate the training community’s ability to advance the science and practice of education and training, both in spite of and because of challenges. In addition to outstanding articles on topics of interest to the training community, including articles that address innovations and diversity, a new recurring special section will feature articles addressing education and training in the context of COVID-19. Together, these articles demonstrate the training community’s commitment to continually strengthening health service psychology education and training.
