Simulation analysis of a liver transplantation queueing system

Abstract

Liver transplantation is done widely across the world. Every year, many people are waiting for a donor liver. Depending on the blood group and MELD score, the priority is given to the waiting patients. Here, we have presented the quasi birth death process of the liver transplantation model and analysis of its parameters are done using simulation technique. Simulation results are presented for different values of the threshold.
