Abstract

We report the complete genome sequence of a colistin-resistant strain of uropathogenic Escherichia coli , isolated in January 2013 at King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The isolate (named SA186) was sequence type 131 (ST131) and belonged to serotype O25b-H4 and clade B ( fimH 22).
