Abstract

This research aims to produce a pocket book development product based on mind mapping in science learning that meets valid, practical and effective criteria. This study uses research and development (research and development). The development model in this study refers to the ADDIE model which consists of analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation stages. The subject of this research was class IV of SD Negeri 9 Rambang Niru. The research data was obtained from a questionnaire validating student responses and student tests. The results of the study were based on an expert validation questionnaire which assessed in terms of media appearance, material and language as a whole obtaining a percentage of 89.6% in the very valid category and suitable for use at the trial stage. The results of the One To One questionnaire totaling 3 students obtained a percentage score of 97.9% in the very practical category for the results of the Small Group questionnaire totaling 8 students with a percentage result of 87% in the very practical category. Effective results were obtained by testing to obtain a percentage of 87% with a very effective category for use. Based on the results of the development carried out by researchers with the title development of a mind mapping-based pocket book in science learning class IV, it can be concluded that it meets valid, practical and effective criteria.
