Abstract

The learning of territorial planning is a subject in process of consolidation and is relevant for the development of capacity building for the transformation of Latin American cities. Actually, the experiences around the application of the workshop as a learning strategy are presented, incorporate it into the curricular plan of the postgraduate program, it has served to reinforce the research training processes, as well as to deepen and put in practice the skills acquired in other theoretical components. Therefore, this article shows how this experience has been carried out, fundamental aspects for its development and a series of results that show the benefits of implementing this practical workshop that leads its students to understand the territorial dynamics and problems to seek contextualized planning solutions for a specific territory from a systemic and interdisciplinary vision.
