Abstract
Intrusion of permanent teeth is not extensively covered in theliterature compared to other injuries. Treatment guidelines have been publishedand clinical data is accumulating to support the current recommendations, whichare illustrated in the three cases here. This review evaluates the current informationabout management of traumatically intruded permanent teeth. As more dataaccumulates, uncertainties with respect to both treatment recommendations andlong-term outcomes can be expected to be elucidated.
