Abstract

The metamodeling is analyzed in the context of three crucial questions: How, why and What? This analysis showed that albeit the great advancement of process modeling in last years at least one important question still remains unsolved: How to design new process models? In this paper we introduce a metaparadigm as a possible solution to this question. Metaparadigm is a metadesign paradigm based on Checklands Soft System Methodology.
