Abstract
/ ABSTRAK The presence of close neighboring airport will cause its catchment area to overlap. The dynamics that occur at airports in a region may result in the emergence of multiple airports regions (MARs). In evaluating, the first step is to calculate the catchment area of the airport and land transportation travel time as land accessibility on the area under review. Then an analysis of the airport flight network conducted at the airport under review by observing and forecasting. Air accessibility of an airport is then calculated by looking at the airport flight network. After the airport land and air accessibility is obtained, the airport air transportation accessibility is then calculated as the criteria value used for evaluation. The comparison of the value of regional air transportation accessibility between existing airports and the addition of planned airports show an increase of 19,78%. This means that the planned airport development has the potential to improve accessibility regionally, which is reviewed based on land and air accessibility in the East Java Province. Although the air transportation accessibility has increased regionally, the air transportation accessibility for each of the existing airport has decreased by 33,10% with the presence of new airport.
